Incense Inktober 2. Vigil

Incense Inktober 2. Vigil

There’s nothing like the quiet peace of an empty churchβ€¦πŸ‘€

I like to do an art parody comic every Inktober, and this year’s is based on The Vigil by John Pettie, 1884. I think I’ve had a knight in almost every Inktober, too. He should really get a name at this point.

Prompt thanks to @hallowed.oak.press and Incense Inktober on Instagram.

War! Famine! Plague! We’re all dooooomed! Sound familiar?

Switching things up this year and participating in Incense Inktober, hosted by @hallowed.oak.press on Instagram. The regular Inktober prompts just didn’t inspire me this year, so I’m trying something new. I won’t be doing every prompt, but at least made day 1!

Inktober 17. Journal

Another prompt from Inktober 2024: 17. Journal.

“BURN EVERYTHING” was the advice of one of my history professors, while describing some of the rather embarrassing journals and diaries that have been left (intentionally or otherwise) to posterity. I sometimes think that the study of history is really just an excuse for finely-aged gossip.
