This design from 2010 was never turned into a Christmas card…maybe I should rethink that!

Six days ’til Christmas!
Most years I make and send Christmas cards, and this was my very first design, in 2009 (back when the Mice had whiskers). It’s remained a favorite over the years!

How can you tell the difference between a mouse and a rat? Rats are larger than mice, have blunt noses, thicker tails, and carry handy signs identifying their species.
Thanks to @ratsign on Instagram for letting me borrow his character for a comic! Go check out his amazing miniature artwork–you might spot a Lab Mouse hanging out with a buddy! (And you’ll see why I sweated over drawing R@ just right).

I’m finally on the mend after struggling with a cold for two weeks…once I get one, it just hangs on. I ought to use this as my Christmas card some year, since I always seem to get sick between Thanksgiving and Christmas. It’s the one holiday tradition I could do without. Stay healthy, everyone! ❤️
Notice anything different about the site?
A shorter web address?
An absence of terrible ads for weight loss and mole removal?
Lab Mice is now a .com!

The spiffed-up version of this Inktober comic, “Tempting.”

Danger lurks below the serving counter of Amity Island’s bakery.

There’s three weeks until the end of the year, and two weeks until Christmas!

A comic for the students (and teachers) facing down the end of the semester.
Comic from 2013.

Bless you.
A shined-up version of this Inktober comic.

I’m still in the “basic-dishcloth-that’s-actually-a-practice-swatch” stage of learning to crochet. At least they come in handy.
