J is for Juggling Responsibilities

From Q is for Quarantine: a Coronavirus Alphabet.

“J” and “K” were two of the hardest letters to think of “words” (or phrases) for. But this seemed to fit, for a time when everyone’s spaces and responsibilities were being rearranged.

Also, “responsibilities” has so many “i”s in it at the end, that I had to look up the spelling to make sure I wasn’t just adding them in for fun.

Please Just Go Away…

I’m still determined to finish Q is for Quarantine, even if it has been almost 2-1/2 years in the making, simply out of sheer stubbornness. We’re not called covid “long-haulers” for nothing!

I drew these while sick with covid (confirmed, this time) in January. Though not as severe this time as it was in March 2020, it still dragged on and caused further health issues. I do really wish all of it would just go away….

Another Year Has Slipped Away…

Welcome to the nebulous week between Christmas and New Year’s!

This is a Christmas card design from 2018–in spite of the fact that it is dated to 2017 (seems I never got used to writing the new date that year). It was my first time coloring a panel with colored pencil, rather than digitally, and I struggled with scanning it. But I still love this one!

This little panel went on the inside front of the card. Poor mouse!

Bonus trivia: this card was was inspired by a Christmas card from World War I, below:
