Happy (?) New Year….
(The sequel to comics “Calendrical Caution” and “Time Bomb”)
–Except I have a very cute Secret Life of Squirrels calendar, so that will be going up!

How it started….

Last year’s “Christmas” card design, which continued a theme of calendrical angst begun in 2020. We shall continue to pursue this theme over the next few days, as yet another New Year approaches on a collision course. Put on some goggles and your sturdiest oven mitts.

It’s Christmas Eve!
Introducing this year’s Christmas card design: “Popcorn String.”
This card was inspired by the neighbor couple who lived in the house opposite when I was growing up. They told me once that among their Christmas decorations, they had a popcorn string which the husband made when he was a boy, and which they still hung on their Christmas tree every year. At the time, the string must have been about 60 years old. I had no idea popcorn could last so long. It certainly doesn’t in my house.
Merry Christmas to all!

Six days ’til Christmas!
Most years I make and send Christmas cards, and this was my very first design, in 2009 (back when the Mice had whiskers). It’s remained a favorite over the years!

🤧
I’m finally on the mend after struggling with a cold for two weeks…once I get one, it just hangs on. I ought to use this as my Christmas card some year, since I always seem to get sick between Thanksgiving and Christmas. It’s the one holiday tradition I could do without. Stay healthy, everyone! ❤️

The spiffed-up version of this Inktober comic, “Tempting.”

Danger lurks below the serving counter of Amity Island’s bakery.

A comic for the students (and teachers) facing down the end of the semester.
Comic from 2013.

Happy Thanksgiving! …And good luck to all the cooks out there!
A re-post from last year.
