O Hedgie tree, O Hedgie tree,
How prickly are thy branches….

Mouse subscribes to the “make lemonade” philosophy of solving life’s difficulties. If life wraps you in Christmas lights, you must now be a Christmas tree.
That’s a wrap on this comic! Check out the entire strip in the next post!

Christmas tree lights strike again! Poor Hedgie is just another Christmas decoration now.
Check back on Friday for the final panel in this comic!

Elephants and spiders and dragons and toads and…Great Old Ones and…fire demons…and horses and hedgehogs, oh my! I drew a lot of creatures that were not mice for Inktober this year. Just to make the challenge extra-challenging, many of them I have not tried to draw in years (horses, dragons), and I’m sure I’ve never tried to draw a cuttlefish before.

Inktober 22: Scratchy
(Re-) Introducing Mouse’s friend, Hedgie! She starred in a one-off comic a few years ago, but I’d like to bring her in more often. She’s really fun to draw–it’s that crazy hairstyle.
This Inktober is turning into “Lab Mice & Friends,” what with Elephant, Hedgie, Cthulhu, Trevor the Toad, a spider, a dragon, and a horse all making appearances.
